MORE ABOUT THE O.C.C.

The Ontario Canoe Cruisers White Water Club The foremost Ontario clubs were the Ontario Canoe Cruisers and the Ontario Voyageurs Kayak Club. Highly skilled in wilderness travel and whitewater technique brought from Europe, these were exciting groups to which to belong. The Ontario Voyageurs Kayak Club

Mornings became filled with strength training and running four miles of hills. Evenings were dedicated to boat work. Surfing on the lake, gate work and a fair number of after-work river runs in all seasons, including river swims on Boxing Day and New Year's Day, and running dams.

Organizational involvement included Provincial Touring Chair, Boat Building Chair, pool and river clinics for the clubs and the Provincial sport governing body. The Ontario Wild Water Affiliation certified the ADVENTURE AGENT
founder in its first group of White Water Kayak Instructors.

The Ontario Wild Water Affiliation The ADVENTURE AGENT
has day-tripper sea kayak molds for record-setting sea kayaks (across Florida, 2000). He built plugs for the seat and coaming. Plugs are the parts that have to be made from which molds are built so that parts can be made. He manufactured sevral of these boats. How's that for dedication?

The Canadian White Water AffiliationIndeed, whitewater kayaking became, as Queen's University professor C.E.S. Franks stated, in his book The Canoe and White Water, a " celebration of life." What a collossal summation of the experience.
The Wilderness Canoe Association
All this, plus about 40 years of experience, is all only a small part of the The ADVENTURE AGENT
