Based in Snow Road Station, Ontario, we are a convenient, scenic drive from Crotch Lake, along rolling, winding, and excellent roads. A home based business, we operate on the McLaren's Depot Snye of the Mississippi River, on an island, out of a log house.

In the spring, an 800 metre rapid on the south side can be a class five, virtually unrunnable. No public lands and no public water access exist on the island. We're in the middle of a large wilderness comprised of Lanark Highlands, Madawaska Highlands, North Frontenac and the Land o' Lakes. It's a magnificent area of biodiversity where wildlife fills the hills, rivers, well over 5000 lakes and old growth forests.

Residents of Wesport, Kingston, Belleville, Gananoque and Ottawa refer to the area around Crotch Lake as "God's Country ", and God certainly DID bless this beautiful Land O' Lakes area. They recognize this as the accessible wilderness, because of its proximity, and excellent paved roads.

Crotch Lake offers wonderful paddling opportunities amid its Muskoka-like scenery. The best way to get to know this area is by canoe or kayak, with Adventure Agent.
