Mississippi Paddling Tour
Limit 10 persons
Join Adventure Agent on our Mississippi River Paddling Tour to Snow Road Station. Celebrate Canada and Eastern Ontario on this part of the 200 km Mississippi River water trail.
We will portage rapids which are scenic. The portage trails on this route are rugged; the rapids are generally not runnable for the average paddler and boat. We will not run whitewater.
Land here is nearly all privately owned, and respect for such is part of our tour. The area is patrolled by enforcement officers of the
municipality. Landowners are co-opearative with the system. It is a good system and has helped preserve the quality of this wonderful, little known water trail.
Participants are responsible for their own paddling outfit and ensuring that it is in compliance with Canada Coast Guard Regulations.
Local waterways are policed and charges have been laid.
Also bring your own water, snack, insect repellant (you never know), camera, and appropriate footwear and clothing to match the day 's

Expected Duration: 6 hours, including getting vehicles and cars arranged.
Your assistance with shuttling is expected.
This event is at no cost. Participants must sign our waiver to participate.
