In 2009, Adventure Agent participated in
CELEBRATE THE TAY CANAL
by running a very short trip on the Tay River, open to the public, with a limited number of participants.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DATE PROMOTED IN LOCAL MEDIA IS INCORRECT. The correct date for this outing is listed below, and was established months prior. Adventure Agent regrets the mis-information publicized, and is committed to the date as per below, TREK THE TAY RIVER - June 17, 2009.

In 2008, Adventure Agent participated
with other Eco-minded persons to make a difference in our local riverine environment. In fact, Jake the super-dog still has the small ball that was found. No-one wanted the full, unopened can of beer I found, though I did try to auction it off at the end of the trip. Photos of the event are here:Tay River Clean-up 2008

In 2008 Adventure Agent also participated
with other volunteers in the planning, design, construction, installation and monitoring/adjusting of a small launching dock for kayakers, in the Perth Turning Basin. This is a great start/finish for short jaunts on the Tay River.
